Nipper

After Palmer feeds the pigeon for the first time he keeps asking himself, “Why did I do that? But he knew why. He just did not want to say, not even to himself”. What do you think it is that Palmer doesn’t want to say? Why do you think Palmer risks his reputation to care for Nipper?

  1. I think that he does not want to say that how come every time I see that pigeon I want to feed him. I think that he risks his reputation to care for Nipper because Nipper is Palmer’s pet and he has to take care of it or Nipper would turn back on him or could probably die.

  2. He might have not want to say that he cares for it. Cause he knows how his town treats pigeons, and he dose not want to be like that. Cause he knows that it is wrong so he rather risk his reputation.
