The Treatment

What are the advantages and disadvantages of receiving The Treatment (page 21)? Why do you think the boys seek it out?

  1. The disadvantage is that everyone gets The Treatment when there 9 or 10, but if Palmer didn’t get The Treatment then they would call him chicken and the advantage is that Farquar does it every time and it hurts.

  3. THE GOOD THING IS THAT HE CANBE CONSIDERED “COOL”.THEY SEEKED IT OUT TO HAVE THE PRIDE.

  6. well whats the good part of the treatment,is that everybody calls him a big guys&he is proud of it.
    whats not so good is about it is that its going to hurt real bad. So they seeked farquar out
    because palmer knew he was going to feel good about it.
